日本語の練習 第21週 Japanese Practice Week 21
Hello everyone! Kyuusei here to teach you Japanese and show what I find interesting about Japan. With that being said, let’s continue.
日本語のエベント
一昨日、３４分ちょどにジョギングしました。足がまだ疲れたけど、楽しかったです。それから、「少女終末旅行」や「涼風」を見て終わりました。そして、「劇場版 ブラッドシー ザ ラスト ダーク」を見ました。この映画はちょっと分かるにくいだと思もいます。しかし、シリーズよりもこの映画の方がいいだと思います。
昨日、「青春ブタ野郎はゆめみる少女の夢を見ない」を見た。見てよかった。すごく楽しかった。その映画を深く感動した。
Progress
I thought about changing my studying habits up a bit. This new strategy has helped me retain more and has been less of a strain. Here is the new plan:
- LingoDeer: 2 Lesson cores every weekday, Review on weekends
- JA Sensei: Review all JLPT Vocabulary (N5) and Kanji (N5 & N4) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
I plan on getting back into Japanese From Zero Volume 4 since my casual speaking needs some work. Besides I want to see what is in volume 5. Especially since this occurred:
I have also switched up my lifestyle a bit to get more quality study time:
- 1 hour of anime per day
- 3 hours on devices per day
- No device use after 8 pm
I’ll give myself some leniency by introducing an 80/20 rule. As in, I follow this most of the time but not all the time.
Grammar Notes
Remember those moments back in childhood where your parents “made” you do chores or do your homework? How about asking permission to let yourself do something for someone else? Look no further than the causative form.
In other words, the causative form means “To let/make/force something to happen” and “Let me”.
る – Verbs
る➔ drop る+させる
Ex: 僕は自分には変えさせました。(I made myself change.)
う – Verbs
Convert ending to A-form
Ex: 彼女は漢字を覚えらせました。(She made me memorize Kanji.)
Irregular Verbs
する➔させる
Ex: 両親は私に勉強させる。(My parents forced me to study.)
来る➔来させる
Ex: パーティーに来たくなかったけど、あいつは俺に来させました。
(I didn’t want to come to the party, but this guy made me come.)
“To Let”
Ex: 君を助けさせてください。（Let me help you.）
Dialogues
厳しい妻 (Casual)
A: 太一、結婚しておめでとう。
B: あ、佐藤さん、久しぶりだな。
A: まだタバコを吸うのか？
B: いやいや、もう吸わないよ。
A: え、どうして？もうかして。。。
B: そうだよ。妻は俺にタバコを止めさせた。
A: じゃ、俺もタバコを止めるべきかな。
B: 頑張ってな。
A: こちらこそよ。
Strict Wife (Casual)
A: Taichi, congratulations on your wedding.
B: Oh, Satou, long time no see, huh.
A: Do you still smoke?
B: Nah, I don’t smoke anymore.
A: Eh, why… don’t tell me…
B: That’s right. My wife made me stop smoking.
A: Well, I think I should quit smoking, too.
B: Good luck with that.
A: Likewise.
もう梅雨だね
A: 雨がすごく降ている。傘はどこだっけ。。。ヤバイ！
B: どうしたの、あゆみちゃん。
A: 傘を忘れちゃった。
B: じゃ、これ。
A: いいの？。。。ソラちゃん大丈夫ですか。
B: うん、大丈夫だ。家が遠くないよ。じゃな。
A: （ソラちゃんがステキな。）
It’s already rainy season huh
A: It’s raining a lot. Now where is my umbrella… oh no!
B: What’s the matter, Ayumi?
A: I forgot my umbrella.
B: Well, here.
A: Is this okay? …Are you going to alright.
B: Yeah, I’ll be fine. My house isn’t that far. See ya.
A: (Sora is so wonderful)
ヒビキのにっき
７番道路に行った。ウェラ火山公園はちょっと暑いだ。というか、蒸し暑いだ。とつぜん、Salanditは草の中に飛び出した！Salanditが欲しいので、このバトルは難しいだ。うんよく、Salanditをつかみました。ヒドクマルというあだ名だった。Battle Royal Dome帰りに、Gladeonを見た。あいつは何をしているのか。
Masked Royalに出会った。えと。。。ククイ博士じゃないか？誰かは「君はククイ博士だろうか？」。おい、質問を無視しないでよ。とにかく、僕たちはポケモン勝負しました。４－Wayバトル！ハウーはいつものんびりする。だから、僕は彼のポケモンをはやく倒した。
それから、Kiawe出会いた。彼はキャプテンだ。Kiaweは「君は山に登って、一番強いポケモンを連れ込むぞ！」。さ、行こうか。
Hibiki’s Journal
I went to Route 7. Wela Volcano Park is a little hot. I mean, it’s hot and humid. Salandit jumped out of the grass. This battle was difficult because I wanted Salandit. Luckily, I caught it. I nicknamed it Hidokumaru (Play on words Hidoku = cruel; Hi = Fire; Doku = Poison). On the way back from Battle Royal Dome, I saw Gladeon. What is he doing?
I met masked Royal. Uh, it’s Dr. Kukui, isn’t it? Someone said, “Are you Dr. Kukui”. Hey, don’t ignore the question. Anyway, we had a Pokémon battle. 4-Way Battle! Hau always takes it easy. That’s why I quickly defeated his Pokémon.
Then we met Kiawe. He’s a captain. “Climb the mountain and bring your strongest Pokémon” Kiawe said. Well, let’s go.
In conclusion, I hope that this series is helpful with your journey to learning Japanese and/or taking an interest in the country’s culture. Until then… また来週！
