日本語の練習 第18週 Japanese Practice Week 18
Hello everyone! Kyuusei here to teach you Japanese and show what I find interesting about Japan. With that being said, let’s continue.
日本語のエベント
1998年ぐらいからアニメを見ます。子供の時、デジモンアドベンチャーやポケモンやドラゴンボールを見ました。しかし、この番組はカートゥーンだと思いました。あの単語「アニメ」は知りませんでした。今、アニメを１０００ぐらい見ました。アニメはつまらないになりますかな。無理だとおもいます。名探偵コナンやワンピースや3月のライオンが大好きです。色々でステキなアニメがあります。しかし、アニメはときどきよくないだと思います。真実なのに、まだアニメを見ます。
例えば、今日は暁のヨナを見ました。そして、ドラマティカル マーダーを見ました。暁のヨナは面白いだと思います。ドラマティカル マーダーはあんまりよくないです。
最近はアニメをたくさん見した。それで、これから5だけを見ます。
Grammar Notes
とにかく
It means “anyway”.
Like in English, this word is used at the beginning of the sentence. It is used to stray away from the previous topic and to start on a new one.
Ex:とにかく、それはわたしのせいです。
Ex:とにかく、私たちはなにをはなしましたか？
いっぽう・一方
It means “One way” or “On one hand/On the other hand”.
Let’s say you make a statement that gives you a choice. Then you have another sentence where a different choice can be made. This second sentence can be conjugated by putting いっぽうで／一方で at the end of the first sentence. In other words, it is used to explain 2 different situations/choices/opinions.
Ex: お金がほしい一方で、働きたくないです。(I want money[on one hand, but on the other hand] I don’t want to work.)
Ex: パーティーに行きたいいっぽうで、ひまな時間がありません。(I want to go to a party[on one hand, but on the other hand] I don’t have free time.)
Another way you can use this, you can use it at the end of the sentence to describe something that keeps happening.
Ex: おじさんのテレビはうるさい一方です。(My uncle’s TV is still noisy.)
Ex: この病気は大きくなる一方です。(This illness is continuing to spread.)
つまり
This means “In other words”.
This word is used to make a previous statement clear.
つまり、手をつなごう。(In other words, hold my hand. 「フランクシナトラのレファレンス。。。誰か。。。とにかく、」)
つまり、僕は来られないです。(I mean, I can’t come.)
Dialogues
マンガよりアニメ
A:一緒にアニメを見ませんか。
B:どっちですか。
A:金色のガッシュベル。
B:えと。。。
A:どうしたの？
B:マンガの方がいいですよ。
A:え？本当？
B:そうですよ。
A:じゃ、働く細胞を見ましょう。
B:あの血小板はかわいいだね。
A:そうだね。
Manga over Anime
A: Would you like to watch an anime with me?
B: Which one?
A: Golden Gash Bell (AKA Zatch Bell)
B: Uh…
A: What’s wrong?
B: The manga is better.
A: Eh? Really?
B: That’s right.
A: Then, let’s watch Cells at Work.
B: Those platelets are cute, huh?
A: Right.
よく勉強してください
A:は～
B:エリさん、どうしたんですか？
A:あした、日本語のテストがあります。日本語が心配です。
B:エリさん、は日本語が上手ですよ。
A:いいえ、まだまだです。
B:毎日勉強しましたか？
A:はい。アニメでべんきょうしました。
B:あの、アニメだけですか。
A:はい。
B:大変ですね。

B: Ellie, what’s wrong?
A: I have a Japanese test tomorrow. I am worried about my Japanese.
B: Your Japanese is good Ellie.
A: No, not yet.
B: Did you study every day?
A: Yes. I study by watching anime.
B: Um, only by watching anime.
A: Yes.
B: That sounds troublesome.
ヒビキのにっき
今５ばんどうろにいます。Gladeonに出会った。彼はちょっと強いでした。Gladeonのさいごのポケモンはすごく不思議だと思います。え？彼はスコルダンで働きますか？！すごいですね。えと。。。彼の顔がおなじみです。金髪の毛緑の目。。。もうかして、リリエとGladeonは親族ですか？！怪しいな。。。
とにかく、Brooklet HillでLanaに出会った。そして、Surskitをつかみました。いけとびこというあだ名でした。いけとびこは甘いものが好きだから、はちみつをもっています。かわいい～。さ、くんれんのじかん。Shiny Lillipupを見った！しかし、このポケモンをまだつかみましたT_T。僕のポケモンがもっと強くになりました。
Hibiki’s Journal
I’m on the 5th route. I met Gladeon. He was a bit strong. Gladeon’s last Pokémon was very strange. What?! He works with the Skull Gang?! Amazing, huh. Uh… his face is familiar. Blonde hair, green eyes… are Lillie and Gladeon relatives?! Suspicious…
Anyway, I met Lana at Brooklet Hill. I caught a Surskit too. I nicknamed it Iketobiko (Ike means pond while “tobi” is a variation of the verb tobu which means “to fly or jump”. Put all together and you get Pond Jumper. This is nice considering Surskit is based off water skippers. ). Since Iketobiko is holding honey, she must like sweet stuff. So cute~. Well it’s training time. I saw a shiny Lillipup! But I already caught this Pokémon T_T. My Pokémon have become stronger.
